Connect the private registry

Add this to .npmrc in your site's root, and set NUU_LICENSE_KEY in your shell, CI and hosting environment. Keep the key out of git.

Install the plugin

pnpm add @nuustudio/emdash

npm and yarn work too. Prefer a file? Download the latest .tgz from your dashboard.

Register it in Astro

Activate your license

In the EmDash admin, open NuuStudio settings and paste your key. The site's public address takes one seat. Local and staging addresses are free. To move a license, remove the site from your dashboard first.

Keep it updated

Run pnpm update @nuustudio/emdash and deploy. The admin also shows a notice when a new version is out. To automate it, add Renovate with the registry credentials:

If your license lapses, you keep every version released before it expired.
